Nobody planned to build Thea Shawcroft. That is usually how the best B.O.B.s begin. It was discovered at the bottom of a box labelled “Probably Important”, shortly after someone handed in seventeen unmatched socks at once. These days, this delightfully stubborn machine is busy solving the never-ending mystery of where teaspoons disappear to. Its special talent is remembering where everyone left their keys, although it would much rather spend the afternoon collects teaspoons from imaginary cafés. Its greatest dream is to drive the first teapot to the Moon; its only real worry is vacuum cleaners with ambition. Best friend: Mavis, a very practical pigeon. Favourite saying: “Everything will probably be fine.”
